WINGS, WAVES & WOODS
at the Library

May 21    10:00

We've enjoyed participating in Island Heritage Trust's Wings, Waves & Woods Festival for the past few years, and this year looks to be just as fun, if not more so! Here at the Library, Grayson Richmond of Birdsacre will share museum quality replica avian skulls, and teach about the unique adaptations that grant birds their incredible abilities. Peer into bird behavior and etiquette with personal stories of Birdsacre's ambassadors, and learn what to do when encountering wild life. Suitable for children, but enjoyable for all! The presentation is sponsored by Downeast Audubon. All morning, we'll be giving away “A Maine Birds Checklist for Young Birders” to anyone who would like one. It’s going to be a fun morning at the Library, so stop in!

Check out islandheritagetrust.org for a complete schedule of the three day festival.
